About Us

Perched on the bank of the Grand river in Elora, Ontario, our beautiful boutique opened in 2008. Laura and her husband Tim moved to Elora in 2008 with the intention of opening Jammed Lovely, a funky gift and card boutique on Mill Street West (in the historic downtown area) in Elora.

Through trial and error and a lot of support & love from the community, Jammed Lovely (www.jammedlovely.com) grew and thrived into a popular store that had a reputation for selling affordable, unusual gifts as well as a wonderful selection of unique cards. Laura also experimented with carrying a small collection of clothing, but it was soon obvious that more space (and change rooms!) would soon be required. So she started looking for a new, second store…

As fate would have it, within a year a beautiful space opened up just down the street from Jammed Lovely. For years, Laura had been collecting or making distressed furniture, wallpaper and unusual “mistinted” paint (an obsession that her husband doesn’t really understand) so all that was required was the decorating and renovations that would give the building more of a vintage “Epiphany” look. With the help of her wonderful staff from Jammed Lovely as well as her ever supportive family members, Laura felt ready to let the creative decorating juices flow!

Laura had dozens of drawings and paint cans as well as pictures ripped out of magazines, printed from blogs and taken throughout the years by herself (in her previous life as a professional photographer) and her friends. Slowly the space transformed into a beautiful natural space that would compliment her vision of feminine, elegant clothing perfectly.

We really, really love how it has all turned out, and expect many more years of creative curating of the most unique apparel we can find. Thank you so much for visiting!
